(Bodies) Let the bodies hit the floor by Drowning Pool

Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor

Beaten, why for (why for)
Can't take much more
Here we go here we go here we go, now

One, nothing wrong with me
Two, nothing wrong with me
Three, nothing wrong with me
Four, nothing wrong with me

One, something's got to give
Two, something's got to give
Three, something's got to give
Now!

Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor

Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Now!

Push me again (again)
This is the end
Here we go here we go here we go, now

One, nothing wrong with me
Two, nothing wrong with me
Three, nothing wrong with me
Four, nothing wrong with me

One, something's got to give
Two, something's got to give
Three, something's got to give
Now!

Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor

Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor

Skin to skin, blood and bone
You're all by yourself but you're not alone
You wanted in and now you're here
Driven by hate, consumed by fear

Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor

One, nothing wrong with me
Two, nothing wrong with me
Three, nothing wrong with me
Four, nothing wrong with me

One, something's got to give
Two, something's got to give
Three, something's got to give
Now!

Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor

Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor

Hey... Go!
Hey... Go!
Hey... Go!
Hey... Go!

you want something positive - OK "Thank you for the music" (tongue firmly in cheek about that one) - ABBA's final song. Not mean or nasty - just an indication that it was "over" - just like Brakeman

All kidding aside, how about 'The Battle Hymn of the Republic'? I think it captures the essence of her personality and her political ideology quite nicely:

Fundamentalist Christian to its very core, plodding in its theme, uncompromisingly jingoistic and intolerant, stridently and unrelentingly self-righteous, and utterly outdated and out of touch.

To tell you quite honestly, I think that Michele Bachmann would choose a song like that for her campaign without batting an eyelash and without having the slightest inkling of the irony involved.

Glory, glory, hallelujah! Her truth is marching on.

Like an enormous, frosted pink Energizer Bunny.

    Death- Low Life

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R7pWh5HYI44

Those who are a waste of life
Use up air that others can breathe
    Human leaches all around
    Superior is what they believe

Fake is a word you represent
Your existence on earth I resent
At the cost of others you get by
Each word you speak is a lie

    Low life
    That's all you'll ever be
    Lies in effect
Thats what you like to see

    Hiding behind material values
That helps cover up your weakness
Never to change, always to look
For an easy way out of life

A pathetic excuse for a human being

    Nothing to back you up
    Never giving second thought
    Thinking you fool the world
Into seeing something you are not

Fake is a word you represent
Your existence on earth I resent
At the cost of others you get by
Each word you speak is a lie

    Low life

Driftwood was the only person I ever put on ignore. She/he/it really didn't have anything rational to bring to the table and when challenged would cry like a Palin. She insulted everyone and then if they challenged her in the slightest way she cried COH violation.Calling her a conservative is a disservice to conservatives. So if that's what people are calling you, I really wouldn't be too flattered.

You'll notice the first part of my statement ;) I am hoping times are changing. It used to be that conservatives didn't really have to work very hard to make their point. All they had to do was to resort to name calling and just make stuff up (kind of like Greenwood *cough*) and people would throw out logic and reason and say "Ahhh Bach!" Hopefully these dinosaurs are a thing of the past and we will seeing the more rational conservatives take center stage.

I can certainly understand your attitude given that you are obviously a liberal…..However, I found the opposite to be true……..in my opinion she was a pillar of the conservative perspectives on these issues…..Your conclusion of her deliberation methods is typical with someone of an opposing spectrum and not at all surprising…..Greenwood, you should be honored…….!!!

Did you ask your readers to read the only 2000+ page healthcare bill, or is it much more fun to make fun of Bachmann?

It's so heart-aching to know the Left was fine with Pelosi's 'you need to pass it to read it' declamation, yet, wants to seriously contemplate Bachmann's new theme song.

Did you read the Healthcare bill? Why don't you go ahead and sum it up for us since you read it and we didn't? Let me guess it goes something like this blah blah blah Obama is Satan blah blah blah.

What Should Bachmann's Theme Song Be?

          Countess Bathory ~ Venom

Countess Elizabeth Báthory de Ecsed ( 7 August 1560 – 21 August 1614) was a countess from the renowned Báthory family of Hungarian nobility. In modern times she has been labelled the most prolific female serial killer in history. She is remembered as the "Blood Countess" or "Blood Queen."

And you are correct, please, if you EVER find a post of mine in which I praise Pelosi, feel free to remind me, but she's one of the biggest points of failure in the Democratic Party. She is blatantly partisan, and a rather poor leader.

That being said, SOMETHING had to be done to change our healthcare system. As it is, it is dysfunctional beyond belief. Is this bill perfect? Nope! I wanted a single-payer OPTION, but the GOP dug in its heels, and refused to even consider it, once again re-earning their badge as the 'Party of NO.'

And for the record, Obama SHOULD have run roughshod over the GOP, as the Dems had a near-super-majority in Congress, but he DID NOT. Obama continued to try to work WITH the GOP, and they would have none of it. Obama isn't perfect either, but the GOP, and the Tea Party in particular, are obstructionists to the end.

'you need to pass it to read it'

          Sigh.....
I realize this has already (rightfully) been collapsed, but I am going to reply to this anyway...
First you couldn't even get the (partial) quote right, what you are quoting is the "But, we need to pass the bill so you can see what is in it" infamous, taken out of context, quote.
Look this up on YouTube, and you will see the video starts exactly before the word "but" and exactly after the word "it." Know why? Because this string of words was in the middle of a much larger statement. Why do you think the "quote" starts with the word "but?"
She was addressing the lies spread about the (at the time) Bill. She started out by saying "There have been many lies spread about this bill, but there are very good thing in it (she then went on and listed some points, I can't remember which ones) but, we have to pass the bill so you can see what is in it away from the fog of controversy."
As you can see they took a small phrase from inside a bigger quote to make it sound like she said something she did not. Congratulations, you have been duped.
All this is besides the fact that when she said that very "quote" you could read the whole damn Bill online. So, even if she did say it in the context that they want you to believe, the whole point of that is moot.

These boots are made for walking, and that's just what they'll do. . .and one of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you--boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom.

"Boots" would be a natural since they harken back to images of the Jack Boots of Nazi Germany. Teapublicans deserve to have uniforms. They already have the manifesto and gun toting militiamen. Those boots will be walking all over the rest of us "one of these days" if people keep being taken in by the idea the a government that consolidates power with corporate business is a good idea.

Jefferson and Adams had this discussion during the formation of the nation. Too bad Teapublicans get their "history" from the likes of Glenn Beck.

maybe an old Spike Jones song from WWII

"And when the Germans say that "Ve is der master race, we go Sieg Heil! {razzberry} Heil! {razzberry} right in der fuehrer's face..."

RePUGNANTS are somewhat FASCIST anyway, so it fits...

How about "Springtime for Hitler" from The Producers (Mel Brooks)....

              Germany was having trouble
              What a sad, sad story
              Needed a new leader
              To restore its former glory
              Where, oh where was he?
              Where could that man be?
              We looked around
              And then we found
The man for you and me
              And now it's

              Springtime for hitler and germany
              Deutschland is happy and gay
We're marching to a faster pace
              Look out
              Here comes the master race

Spike Jones--brought back old memories. If he were alive today, he would come up with something great! He was a genius!! ( btw, the song was "The Fuehrer's Face")

You youngsters out there should try to listen to some of his stuff. He was great satirist and comic musician! ( especially during WWII- did a lot of patriotic stuff- TPers would like him!) He was well before Stan Freiberg! What? you dont know him either? You must really be young! Look him up too. They are both worth your time!!

the reason why Obama won was mostly in part due to the fact that he will actually answer ANY question posed to him without stupid deflection. Republicans refused to answer questions thats why they lost. She is worse than the idiots in the republican primary of '08. any question asked to her she just says a canned response that doesn't even relate to the question.

correction - Brakeman may win the rePUGNANT nomination, but then the information about her incredible STUPIDITY kick and and don't let up until the first WEDNESDAY in November (the day after the election).

I KNOW I say that rePUGNANTS are scheming conniving power mongers but IF they select Brakeman to be the standard bearer, they are virtually GUARANTEEING a DEMOCRATIC victory - she's as least as bad as Sarah intelligence wise and highly prone to sticking her feet in her mouth (both feet at once)

                    That disgusts me.

that Scooter's supposition in #19 was silly, since Bachmann is a well known homophobe.

indicating that Scooter's opinion is likely very poorly thought out and/or researched.

I'm a Republican and a Judas Priiest fan and us 80s rockers knew he was gay a long time ago. SO?

He's one of the best singers in rock history. I've seen him twice. (Rush this weekend though).

                    btw, I'm a pro-gay rights Republican/veteran and really don't care about Rob's sexuality.

Obama said during the campaign he was a "one man, one woman" guy. No one on the left had a problem with that-no one called him a homophobe. This is one issue I disagree with Bachman about.

                    And I mean this seriously:

We all aggree and disagree with each other on political issues, but we're all American and we all realize that, despite her faults, the US is the best country on the planet. On this 4th of July weekend, in case I don't chat with you sooner, have a great 4th of July!

Few of us on the left are happy with the rhetoric Obama has used to tiptoe around the issue of gay rights and in particular gay marriage buuuuttttt, he has done far more behind the scenes for gay rights than any teapublican ever dreamed of.

Btw, I'm a pro gay-rights liberal/veteran who also does not care about Rob H's sexuality. Turbo Lover is a great album.

Bad song... she might take it seriously and burn down the US Capital building. Republicans will blame Democrats just like the Nazi's blamed Communists for burning down the Reichstag.

no, the song is lyrically appropriate,

I'm just sayin' whipping out the Hall and Oates on Bachmann (or anyone), that's too cruel!

If it were just based on the chorus, she'd do well with I Go Crazy- Paul Davis... (problem is I LIKE that song..lol and wouldn't want to see it contaminated by association with her..)

Patsy Cline is somehow coming to mind too.. Crazy or I Fall To Pieces... lol
